Istanbul Toy Museum is a museum, founded in Istanbul in 2005 by famous poet Sunay Akın. Akın has filled this house with thousands of toys that bear witness to the history. The toys brought from all over the world are exhibited in different sections under different themes. If the toys are thought to reflect things such as the period it was made, conditions, etc., the toys exhibited in this museum shed light on 200 years ago. There are about 4000 toys in the Istanbul Toy Museum which is on the list of places to visit in Istanbul and this number is increasing day by day.
The founder of the museum is Sunay Akın and the designer is Ayhan Doğan. Each room of the house is designed differently from the head. By using toys in the museum, thematic sections were created. While you wandering, you can see a small class, the first Star Wars toy, the Turkish flag sent to the moon, the doyley knitted for UFO, the notes that a teacher wrote to his small students, Native American figures, motor and car models.
