Temple of Castor and Pollux: I can say that the temple, which is said to have been destroyed and rebuilt many times, is seem like it has never been renewed. It is among the places that attract attention in also today with all its simplicity and splendor. One of the most remarkable places in the Roman Forum, this 7 meter tall temple is a place which should not be missed.
The Arch of Septimius Severus: It was made in memory of the victory won against the Parthians by Emperor Septimius Severus and his sons Caracalla and Geta. I can say that it is among the most remarkable places in the Forum.
Other structures that should be seen in the Forum are: Tapularium, Umbilicus Urbi, Temple of Saturn, Court Hostilia and Temple of Caesar.
How to get to the Roman Forum?
The Forum is located between the Coliseum and Palatino Hill. So, being close to the Colosseum is enough to go to the forum. Althought it is said that Forum can't be reached on foot from tourist attractions such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, i think you can reach to the Forum on foot easily in an average 15-20 minutes on foot. You do not need any means of transportation to reach the forum from these places.
Rome Forum 2016 Entry Fees: You can get the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Palatino Hill combined tickets for a fee like an average of 20 Euro. These tickets you buy are valid for 2 days. So, you do not have to visit all places same day.
The Roman Forum, which must be on your "places to visit in Rome" list, is one of the ancient structures that should not be missed. With both its history and architecture, you can find something that will surely interest you.
